Changes go into effect this week following guidance from the State of New York.

Waterloo, N.Y. – del Lago Resort & Casino is announcing updated hours of operation and rolling back food, beverage and gaming restrictions following yesterday’s announcement of the State having reached its 70% vaccination milestone and most Covid-19 related health and safety restrictions being lifted by the State of New York.

“We are able to provide guests the full-service entertainment experience the property was designed for, and our team is trained to deliver. Our guests can welcome back bar and beverage service on the gaming floor, increased gaming positions, removed dining capacity limits, and added amenities.” said Lance Young, Executive Vice President and General Manager of del Lago Resort & Casino.

Immediately following the announcement, del Lago began updating their Extra Cares program by removing plexiglass barriers from many of the slot machines and table games, removing social distancing measures across the property and re-opening the casino beverages. Beverage service is now available on the floor for slots, table games, the Centrifico bar, bar at DraftKings Sportsbook, and self-service beverage stations, all of which have been closed since the pandemic began. del Lago Resort & Casino’s current mask policy will not change, with non-vaccinated guests and employees still required to wear a mask on-site.

Effective Friday, del Lago will remain open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, with only Table Games closing those nights from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. From Sunday through Thursday, the property will extend its hours of operation staying open until 3:00 a.m.

Wins six industry awards from Casino Player magazine

In addition, the casino’s food and beverage program was recognized with six first place wins in the Best Of Dining & Nightlife Awards (BODN) from Casino Player magazine.

del Lago Resort & Casino is one of only a few properties in the Finger Lakes region to receive the distinguished AAA Four Diamond Designation, which it has been awarded in 2020 and now in 2021. Diamond-designated properties offer a clean, comfortable experience consistent with the latest industry standards and AAA member expectations. To be recognized as a AAA Diamond property, hotels must pass an unscheduled, in-person rigorous inspection process. Ratings represent the quality of the property, range of facilities and level of hospitality offered to guests, with Four Diamonds reflecting “upscale style and amenities with the right touch of service.”

Jul. 10^th event marks del Lago’s return to live events, hosting in their on-site showroom

Waterloo, N.Y. – Nikki Glaser is coming to del Lago Resort & Casino on Jul. 10, 2021, headlining as the first act in their return to live, on-site events. The show will premier in del Lago’s The Vine Showroom and open at capacity to fully vaccinated guests (those who are at least 14 days past their second shot of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or at least 14 days past their single dose of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine).

Glaser is considered to be one of the funniest female voices in comedy today, performing for over a decade at clubs across the country and as the host of three hit podcasts. Her multiple stand-up specials and late-night tv appearances feature jokes about her most humiliating moments as a woman in the modern world, including past and current struggles with anorexia, depression, and anxiety. She has become a complete open book on mic and has honed her shockingly honest, no-holds barred style of comedy, this time in her “One Night with Nikki Glaser” event coming to del Lago this summer.

Attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination – either physical documentation or via the New York State Excelsior Pass on their smartphone – upon entry, along with an appropriate ID matching the name on the documentation. Masks and social distancing will not be required for event attendees, per CDC and New York State guidelines.

del Lago Resort & Casino thanks New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for his leadership in protecting our communities throughout this pandemic

TYRE, New York (March 16, 2020) – del Lago Resort & Casino has announced it will temporarily close its facilities at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020.

del Lago Resort & Casino is abiding by all guidelines and directives set forth by New York State and the New York State Gaming Commission, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Although there has not been a confirmed case in Tyre, the health and safety of del Lago’s employees and customers is a top priority. del Lago Resort & Casino is taking this action as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to elevate concerns across the United States and globally.

“We are grateful for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s swift action and leadership to protect our state as the COVID-19 pandemic advances,” stated Brent Stevens, CEO of Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, the company which owns del Lago Resort & Casino. “Although there have not been any known COVID-19 cases at our Casino or in Tyre, we are following the Governor’s lead in being proactive during this time.”

del Lago Resort & Casino’s employees will be paid for this upcoming two-week period. During this period, employee paychecks, paid time off and benefits will not be affected. del Lago has instructed all employees to seek medical attention if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
