Waterloo, N.Y. – Two shows have been added to del Lago Resort & Casino’s Vine Showroom lineup: Mike Epps will perform Fri., Jul. 7; and satirical country music artist Wheeler Walker Jr. will perform Sat., Sept. 30 as part of his Spread Eagle Tour. Mike Epps is generating an extraordinary amount of buzz among his peers for being one of the funniest comic actors in town, and for his burgeoning dramatic talent. He steadily climbed his way up the stand-up comedy ranks, becoming recognized by a national audience in 1995 after appearing on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam. His later stand-up specials include his hugely successful Mike Epps: Under Rated and Never Faded and Mike Epps: Don’t Take it Personal.

Epps’ acting credits include his notable roles in the cult hits Next Friday, Friday After Next and All About the Benjamins, as well as critically acclaimed films and TV shows including Sparkle, The Hangover, Girls Trip, Bessie and Dolemite is My Name alongside Eddie Murphy. He received NAACP Image awards for his roles in LeBron James’ television series Survivor’s Remorse, and the film Jumping the Broom.

Matt Rife has exploded as one of the fastest growing comedians through his viral content and remarkable engagement on TikTok, where he has amassed over five million followers and more than 260 million views globally. Rife brings forth his refreshingly genuine presence along with elevated material that is quick witted and vulnerable.

Matt started performing at the age of fifteen, opening for comedians such as Dane Cook, Ralphie May and DeRay Davis. He made his television debut on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out as the youngest cast member in history for four seasons before moving on to other MTV properties, such as hosting the reboot of TRL and appearing on The Challenge. With the arrival of his instantly iconic debut single “My Truck,” New Jersey-born artist Breland emerged as a bold new force on today’s music landscape. Now certified platinum, the wildly catchy hybrid of Hip-Hop and Country hit #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 and earned the admiration of country superstars like Keith Urban, while a high-powered remix featuring hitmaker Sam Hunt landed on best-of-the-year lists from major outlets like NPR and the New York Times. The Marshall Tucker Band (MTB) came together as a young, hungry and quite driven six-piece outfit in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1972, having duly baptized themselves with the name of a blind piano tuner after they found it inscribed on a key to their original rehearsal space – and they’ve been in tune with tearing it up on live stages, both big and small, all across the globe ever since. Plus, the band’s mighty music catalog, consisting of more than 20 studio albums and a score of live releases, has racked up multi-platinum album sales many times over.

Through the ‘70s and ‘80s, Little River Band enjoyed huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart-topping hits like “Reminiscing,” “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “The Night Owls,” “Take It Easy On Me,” “Help Is on Its Way,” “Happy Anniversary,” “We Two,” “Man On Your Mind,” “The Other Guy” and “It’s A Long Way There.” Worldwide album and CD sales now top 30 million, and in 1982, Little River Band set a record for having had Top 10 hits for six consecutive years – in fact, they were the very first band to achieve that remarkable plateau.

Bringing their vocal and musical energy along with great arrangements to their timeless classic hits, each show creates new memories for the audience. One of the most successful singer/songwriters in music, with well over 500 songs to his credit and 100 million albums sold, Paul Anka has the distinction of being the only artist in history to have a song on the Billboard charts during seven consecutive decades. His instantly recognizable hits include “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Diana,” “My Way” and “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” theme.

Anka’s amazingly long career started in 1957, when his song “Diana” sold 20 million records, followed by numerous other hits, including “Puppy Love,” Lonely Boy,” “My Hometown” and “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore” for Buddy Holly, among many others.  At 80 years young, Paul Anka is a force of nature and a consummate showman, commanding every audience and playing to standing ovations around the world.

Country singer Tanya Tucker has been writing and producing music since her first hit “Delta Dawn” in 1972 at the age of 13. During the course of her career, she’s churned out notable hits including “Blood Red and Goin’ Down,” “Lizzie and the Rainman,” “Strong Enough to Bend,” “Two Sparrows in a Hurricane” and “What’s Your Mama’s Name?” She’s received several Country Music Association award nominations and released multiple albums, including the Grammy Award-winning While I’m Livin’.

Quiet Riot is a rock and roll phenomenon. Famously described as the first heavy metal band to top the pop chart at #1 on Billboard magazine, the Los Angeles quartet became an overnight sensation thanks to their monster 1983 smash album Metal Health. The band has sold more than 15 million records worldwide, and their hits include “Cum On Feel the Noize,” “Bang Your Head,” “Mama Weer All Crazee Now,” “Slick Black Cadillac” and “The Wild and the Young.” A Quiet Riot documentary, Well Now You’re Here, There’s No Way Back, was finalized in 2014 and chronicles the rise, fall and resurrection of the band.

Composing a catalogue that includes sixteen studio albums and five live albums, Kansas has produced eight gold albums, three sextuple-Platinum albums (Leftoverture, Point of Know Return, Best of Kansas), one platinum live album (Two for the Show), one quadruple-Platinum single, “Carry On Wayward Son” and another triple-Platinum single, “Dust in the Wind.” Kansas appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 weeks throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s and played to sold-out arenas and stadiums throughout North America, Europe and Japan. “Carry On Wayward Son” continues to be one of the top five most played songs on classic rock radio, and “Dust In the Wind” has been played on the radio more than three million times.
