del Lago Resort & Casino’s Tasting Tuesday Series Raises $1,000 for Helping Hounds Dog Rescue of DeWitt

Waterloo, N.Y. September 12, 2018 — Del Lago Resort & Casino hosted another successful Tasting Tuesday event on Aug. 21 with proceeds benefitting Helping Hounds Dog Rescue of DeWitt. The Tasting Tuesday series (formerly Savor del Lago) is a monthly event featuring wine, beer, and cider samplings from local Finger Lakes wineries, breweries, and cideries. Proceeds from the event support a different local charity each month.
Helping Hounds Dog Rescue provides a compassionate approach to dog rescue by matching homeless dogs from overcrowded shelters with loving homes. Helping Hounds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded by donations, fundraisers and adoption fees that works to find forever homes for rescue dogs in the Central New York area.
Del Lago Resort & Casino presented Helping Hounds with a $1,000 check which will allow the organization to continue pairing homeless dogs from crowded shelters with loving homes. Visit their website for a listing of dogs ready for adoption at www.helpinghoundsdogrescue.org.

Del Lago Resort & Casino will host a special tasting event from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, as part of its Tasting Tuesday series to benefit flood relief efforts in the southern part of Seneca County. Guests can enjoy wine and beer tastings from numerous Finger Lakes wineries, breweries and cideries. This event is free to Massimo and Elite players, $5 for Premier and Signature players, and $10 for non-carded guests. While registration is not required, it is recommended by visiting here.
