Waterloo, N.Y. – Two acts have been added to del Lago Resort & Casino’s entertainment lineup: Lindsey Stirling, performing Sat., Dec. 10, 2022; and Alter Bridge, performing Fri., Feb. 10, 2023. Both shows will take place at 8:00 p.m. at del Lago’s Vine Showroom. Tickets go on sale Fri., Sept. 15. More information can be found at: dellagoresort.com/entertainment/#upcoming-events.
For over a decade, Lindsey Stirling has enchanted audiences across the globe by performing a certain spellbinding magic with her electronic violin, dreaming up an exquisitely composed yet boldly inventive sound entirely her own. On her new album Snow Waltz, the classically trained musician/songwriter/dancer/author finds herself fully in her element, sharing a selection of holiday classics and original songs that evoke intense emotion through her immersive arrangements and mesmerizing melodies. The follow-up to her debut holiday album, Warmer in the Winter—a 2017 release whose hit single “Carol of the Bells” made history as the only instrumental song ever to reach the Top 10 at AC Radio—Snow Waltz emerges as a singular new entry in the holiday-music canon, once again proving Stirling’s extraordinary gift as an instrumental storyteller.
Alter Bridge has steadily climbed to the forefront of hard rock worldwide, exceeding all expectations and benchmarks with over a billion streams, millions of units sold and glowing critical acclaim. On this journey, 2004’s debut LP One Day Remains bowed in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200 and went gold. In 2007, Blackbird’s title track took flight on the wings of the “Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time,” as voted in Guitarist magazine, while countless fans etched its lyrics and logo onto their bodies. Critical plaudits surrounded the 2013 opus Fortress, and 2016’s The Last Hero saw them return to the Top 10 on the Top 200. Maintaining this momentum, Walk The Sky made impressions around the globe when it reached #1 on the US Billboard Top Albums, Top 200 Alternative Albums, Top 200 Hard Rock Albums and Top 200 Rock Albums charts, as well as #1 on Canada’s Top Hard Music Albums chart. The album also hit #1 on the Swiss Album charts, landed in the Top 5 on the Canada, UK, Germany, Austria, Scotland and Switzerland charts and closed out the year on Loudwire’s “The 50 Best Rock Albums of 2019.”
