Del Lago Resort & Casino continues to give back to Finger Lakes-area non-profits with its new community giving program called Community Cash In. Guests can donate their slot machine voucher by placing it into one of 5 marked receptacles at the cage and each casino entrance to benefit a local, rotating charity selected by del Lago Resort & Casino. The first Community Cash In raised $3,144.15 for the Seneca County House of Concern. Each quarter del Lago Resort & Casino will select a different charity to support within Rochester, Syracuse or the Finger Lakes through the Community Cash In program.
“As proud members of the community, we are honored to support the Seneca County House of Concern — a wonderful organization that does so much for our neighbors in need,” said Mark Juliano, executive vice president and general manager of del Lago Resort & Casino. “We are excited to launch our new Community Cash In program with the goal of helping even more of our community partners throughout the region, including Seneca County House of Concern.”
The resort and casino also announced the next Community Cash In recipient: Foodlink, a community food resource center and Feeding America food bank serving food pantries in Allegany, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties. The organization leverages the power of food to transform lives, end hunger and build healthier communities. Through good stewardship, innovation and collaboration, Foodlink mobilizes a diverse network of partners and stakeholders to eradicate both the symptoms and root causes of hunger.
