del Lago Resort & Casino Announces Sawyer Brown and Blessid Union of Souls with Sponge to Perform at The Vine

Del Lago Resort & Casino is pleased to announce two more shows have been added to the upcoming lineup at The Vine. Sawyer Brown will perform at 8 p.m. Sept. 7 and Blessid Union of Souls with Sponge will perform at 8 p.m. Sept. 13. Tickets for both performances go on sale at 2 p.m. Friday, June 29, and may be purchased in person at the del Lago Resort & Casino box office, by calling the box office at 315-946-1695 or at dellagoresort.com/entertainment.

Sawyer Brown is an American country music band founded in 1981 in Apopka, Florida. The band has performed more than 4,500 shows and counting. With 23 albums and more than 50 chart singles, Sawyer Brown has received multiple CMA, ACM and CMT awards. The band’s live shows are legendary. Described as “the Rolling Stones of country music,” Sawyer Brown bounds onto the stage night after night, delivering its own unique brand of high-energy entertainment, and the band remains a perennial favourite at fairs, festivals, theatres, casinos and more.

Blessid Union of Souls is an American alternative rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, formed in 1990 by friends Jeff Pence and Eliot Sloan. With their optimistic, spiritual outlook and song-oriented mix of pop, R&B and folk dubbed “rural soul” by the band, Blessid Union of Souls quickly became one of the most popular bands in the adult alternative radio format in the mid-’90s. Their 1995 debut album, “Home,” was a huge success, producing a Top 10 hit with the single “I Believe.” They will perform with Sponge, an American alternative rock band from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 1991 by Vinnie Dombroski, Mike Cross, Tim Cross and Joey Mazzola. Sponge has proven to be one of the Motor City’s heaviest hitters after gaining international notoriety with their debut album “Rotting Piñata.”
