Congressman Reed Visits del Lago Resort & Casino

On May 4, the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce special legislative luncheon with Congressman Tom Reed was held at del Lago Resort & Casino. After the luncheon, the Congressman and his staff toured the $440 million casino, hotel and Spa del Lago, meeting with some of del Lago’s more than 1,200 employees.
Congressman Reed, a four-term incumbent representing New York’s 23rd Congressional District (serving parts of Western New York, the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes Region), is a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, which is responsible for addressing issues of tax policy, trade, health care and Social Security. In addition, he sits on the Trade, Health, and Human Resources subcommittees. He is also Co-Chair of the Congressional Diabetes Caucus, the House Manufacturing Caucus, and the Problem Solvers Caucus.
