Waterloo, N.Y. – Two new rock bands have been added to del Lago Resort & Casino’s 2023entertainment lineup: Chicago tribute band, Brass Transit, will take the Vine Showroom stage Fri., May 5 at 8:00 p.m., and hall of fame rock band, Cheap Trick, will take the stage Fri., May 26 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Fri., Feb. 10 at 10:00 a.m. More information can be found at: dellagoresort.com/entertainment/#upcoming-events.
Brass Transit is comprised of eight musicians with a love for one of the most successful pop/rock groups of all time, Chicago, who they pay tribute to through a dynamic and crowd-pleasing show. Brass Transit has been dazzling audiences all over North America since it began touring in 2008. They have received multiple standing ovations performing hits like Saturday in the Park, If You Leave Me Now, and Feelin’ Stronger Every Day. Brass Transit recently produced its first album, recording other hit songs of the seventies in the style of Chicago. The band prides itself on bringing audiences back to the most memorable times of their lives.
Established in 1973, Cheap Trick is an American rock band comprised of Rick Nielsen, Robin Zander, and Tom Petersson. The band found mainstream U.S. success in 1979 with their album At Budokan and their first Top 10 single, I Want You to Want Me. Their most successful album, Dream Police reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band has performed live more than 5,000 times and sold more than 20 million albums. Cheap Trick has been featured in Rolling Stone and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. In addition to their solo tour, Cheap Trick will also be touring with Rod Stewart this summer.
