Bret Michaels, Colt Ford performing at del Lago Resort & Casino

Waterloo, N.Y. – Two acts have been added to del Lago Resort & Casino’s entertainment lineup: Bret Michaels, performing Thanksgiving weekend on Sat., Nov. 26; and Colt Ford, performing Thur., Dec. 1. Bret Michaels is a multiplatinum global superstar who has turned his passion for music into a multi-faceted brand that encompasses record breaking touring sales, reality TV stardom, legendary songs that have sold over 32 million records, product endorsements as well as being a devoted philanthropist – all supported and followed by three generations of loyal fans. Rising to fame as the front man of Poison, one of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands, he helped define the rock n roll scene on the Sunset Strip. Their massive success includes selling over 30 million records worldwide and numerous hit singles.
Equally as successful, Bret’s solo career has charted its own course with multiple solo albums. His album, Custom Built, topped the charts, reaching #1 on Billboards Hard Rock list. His CD, Bret Michaels: Good Songs and Great Friends, features a myriad of legendary artists, who just happen to be great friends of Bret’s. The album contributors is a who’s who list including Joe Perry (Aerosmith) Loretta Lynn, Jimmy Buffett, Ace Frehely (Kiss), Michael Anthony (Van Halen) and members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, to name a few.
Colt Ford repeatedly blazes his own trail. The Georgia singer, songwriter, rapper, musician, performer, and co-founder and co-owner of Average Joes Ent. keeps up pace as country’s preeminent independent maverick. By 2019, Colt had built successes as he rose to mainstream notoriety. He notched five consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart with Declaration of Independence bowing at #1 in 2012. Two years later, Thanks for Listening ascended to the Top 10 of the Top 200, with the album reaching #1 on Billboard Rap & Independent charts. Meanwhile, he lobbed six songs onto the Hot Country Songs Chart with “Back” (featuring Jake Owen) going Top 40.
Among many accolades, Ford received a nomination in the category of “Vocal Event of the Year” at the ACM Awards for “Cold Beer” with Jamey Johnson. Accumulating over 3 million albums sales and 1 billion-plus streams, the country rap pioneer’s dynamic discography spans collaborations with everyone from Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Jermaine Dupri to members of No Doubt and Vince Gill.
