Blues Traveler
Get TicketsIn 1987, the four original members of Blues Traveler—John Popper, Chandler Kinchla, Brendan Hill, and the late Bobby Sheehan—gathered in the basement of their drummer’s parents’ home in Princeton, NJ to jam. From these high school sessions emerged a band that has since released 14 studio albums and counting. Four albums have achieved gold status, three platinum, and one six-times platinum, selling more than 10 million units worldwide.
Throughout their illustrious career, Blues Traveler has performed over 2,000 live shows, entertaining more than 30 million people. Their hit single “Run-Around” holds the record for the longest-charting radio single in Billboard history and earned them a Grammy® for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
Their music has graced films such as Blues Brothers 2000, Kingpin, and Wildflowers, among others. A television favorite, Blues Traveler has been featured on Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits, VH1’s Behind the Music, and holds the record for most appearances by any artist on The Late Show with David Letterman.
